DRD Dry Cleaning Technology

Water­less Clean­ing for Bet­ter Film Recy­cling

The MAS DRD Dry Clean­ing Machine removes dust, sand, fines, paper par­ti­cles, and mois­ture from con­t­a­m­i­nat­ed film streams — com­plete­ly with­out water.

This dry pre­pro­cess­ing step improves extru­sion sta­bil­i­ty, reduces oper­at­ing costs, and cre­ates the ide­al con­di­tions for high-qual­i­ty blown film and cast film pro­duc­tion.

The iQon­icTwin Pre­Den­si­fi­er com­bines Siempelkamp’s advanced Pre­Den­si­fi­er tech­nol­o­gy with the MAS con­i­cal co-rotat­ing twin-screw extrud­er.

Unlike con­ven­tion­al cut­ter com­pactors, the sys­tem enables con­trolled den­si­fi­ca­tion and sta­ble feed­ing with­out ther­mal over­load, clump­ing, or incon­sis­tent melt qual­i­ty.
