TW Throughput Scale / Check Weigher: Reliable Throughput Measurement
Use the TW where free-flowing bulk material can be collected, weighed and discharged without disrupting the line. Accuracy claims must be tied to material, flow, batch size, calibration and installation.
Use the TW as a throughput scale for continuous production monitoring or as a check weigher for controlled material verification.
Why The MAS TW Throughput Scale?
TW provides repeated batch weighing for production monitoring or defined check-weighing tasks. It is not a universal flow meter and requires stable free-flowing material, correct installation, controls and calibration.
The system can be integrated into new or existing production lines and used for ongoing throughput monitoring, production documentation and check-weighing tasks.
Best Suited For:
SYSTEM INTEGRATION
A Compact Measuring Module For The Production Line
Plan the TW as part of a complete MAS recycling system or integrate it as a dedicated weighing component in an existing material flow.
Accurate Material-Flow Data For Reliable Production
The TW provides a clear measurement point between process stages. Material is collected in the weighing chamber, weighed under controlled conditions and then discharged back into the production flow. Repeated weighing cycles allow the control system to calculate and record actual throughput.
This gives plant operators a dependable basis for monitoring output, comparing production periods and identifying deviations in material flow. As a check weigher, the system can also verify defined quantities before material is transferred to the next process or storage stage.
How The TW Throughput Scale Works
The system measures free-flowing bulk material in repeatable weighing cycles while maintaining continuous material transfer through the line.

Material Infeed
Free-flowing pellets or granulates enter the measuring system from the upstream production or conveying stage.
➔
Controlled Collection
A defined material batch is collected in the weighing chamber and isolated briefly from the flowing material stream.
➔
Accurate Weighing
The batch is discharged into the downstream process, while the measurement is recorded for production monitoring and evaluation.
➔
Discharge And Recording
The batch is discharged into the downstream process, while the measurement is recorded for production monitoring and evaluation.
The TW In Production
The throughput scale supports transparent production management wherever free-flowing material must be measured between processing, conveying, storage or filling stages.
- Continuous monitoring of regranulation and pelletising-line output
- Comparison of actual throughput with production targets
- Production-volume recording for batches, shifts or campaigns
- Check weighing before storage, filling or downstream processing
- Detection of deviations in the material flow
- Integration into complete MAS recycling and upcycling systems
